What's the difference between black and green olives?
Here's I have differentiate Green olives and Black olives as per their properties:
Green Olive’s
1.Green Olive’s are unripe and early harvested olives.
2. green olives are little bitter in taste.
3. green olives are more solid in texture.
4.Green olives are high in Polyphenols, photo-chemical s with antioxidants.
5. Green olives are high in minerals and vitamins. 6.Green olives are brined in lye solution which makes them edible.
7. Green olives contains less oil than black Olives.
8. Green olives are probably picked up before they ripe( specially in September and October).
9. Green olives are moist
10. Green olives are stuffed with capers, anchovies, almonds and pepper to add more flavors.
Black Olives
1.black Olives are completely ripped.
2.Black olives are mild in taste.
3. Black olives are soft in texture.
4.Black olives high in calories.
5. Black olives are also high in minerals and vitamins.
6.Black olives do not need to brined or marinate.
7.Black olives are oilier than green olives.
8.Black olives are picked after they ripped on the tree.(November and December)
9. Black olives are dry.
10.Black olives are not usually stuffed.
