Beetroot easy and yummy soup recipe



 Beetroot


Beetroot is the taproot portion of beet plant.beets were domesticated in the Asian middle East, primarily for their green,and we're grown by ancient Egyptians. beetroot is also known as red beet,table beets and garden beet.it's scientific name is Beta Vulgaris.beetroot is sweet while fresh but mostly it used as in pickle or cooked form.there are various types of beets as per their color yellow,white,pink and dark purple. Beetroot is great source of fibers,Folate, manganese, potassium,iron and vitamin C. beetroot can improve blood flow,lower blood pressure,reduce heart diseases risk, increase stamina, improve athletic performance, improve digestion, improve brain health, helps to improve diet quality.


Here is one easy and small recipe of beetroot recipe

It's yummy and nutritious




Ingredients


* Beetroot 3 thinly sliced

* Small onion 1

* Garlic cloves 2

* Potato medium 1

* Carrot medium 1

* Tomato 1 large

* Oil 2 tablespoon

* Black pepper powder 1/4 tablespoon

* Fresh cream

* Salt as per taste


Method

* Heat oil in the deep pan.add roughly chopped onions and garlic.saute it well.


* Now add thinly sliced potato and carrot.add salt,black paper and stir well.


* Cover the pan and Cook for 2-3 minutes.add thinly sliced beetroot and 2 cups water.cover the pan with the lid and cook it till vegetables become smooth.


* Check vegetables if they cooked well then add chopped tomato.cook for 10 minutes.


* Strain the vegetables.cool down it.after cooling transfer it into blender and blend it very smooth.add little water to make puree form.


* Now heat the pan for tempering the soup.add 1 tablespoon oil.you can add cumin seeds if like.add pinch of asfoetida.


* Add vegetable puree.heat up the till it come boil.soup is ready to serve.pour the soup into the soup plate or bowl.


* Garnish with cream and serve hot.
